Actually this kind of currency is a digital form of currency , which is secured or generated by specific kind of cryptographic methods (specific encryption coding). The toughness of this encryption / cryptography makes it almost impossible currently to double spend the amount. This kind of currency was introduced to make ease of transactions between different countries in the world as this could be easily transferred through internet, without any hassle of government restrictions which limit the extent of foreign transaction .
